Summer at The Prairie Queen

Summer is here. We've had lots of rain but many beautiful days mixed in. The flower beds are looking perfect, although they can always use weeding. I think I've gotten all the pesky weeds and walk back through the yard and there are more.

The Hydrangea's are full of blossoms this year and still more to come. We have them in several colors.

The Peach Tree is loaded. Looking forward to making some peach jam. Last year we didn't have any due to late frost and the jam is all gone. Keeping an eye on them to pick at just the right time. Not ready yet ----- For now we are getting some really good ones at the Leavenworth Farmer's Market

They really add a nice touch to the Puffed Pancake breakfast.



A great place to sit and relax is the Pergola. Ceiling fans move the air and the view of the gardens can't help but put you in a good mood.

Or sit by the water garden and enjoy the sights and sounds.
